For years, AC has worked closely with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) to support well-being in member schools and share comprehensive findings through webinars, conferences, and reports. Today, we are excited to announce a deepening of our collaboration.
To start this phase of our work together, AC and NAIS will publish a two-part report detailing the well-being of independent school students and faculty/staff during the pandemic as well as the factors most impacting well-being across schools nationwide. The report will highlight the ways in which the pandemic has differently impacted various student and faculty demographic groups, such as ethnic minority students, and focus areas for each region of the US. In addition, students’ and faculty’s responses to open-ended questions on top concerns, suggestions for improvement, and successes will be summarized. Watch this space for more information soon!
After publishing this report, AC will continue to share updated findings on mental well-being within school communities and the changing landscape of mental health via the NAIS blog and at NAIS events.
We have greatly appreciated working with the NAIS community previously, and we are excited to further strengthen our collaboration.
