International Coalition of Girls' Schools

ICGS Partnership

Authentic Connections (AC) is proud to announce a new partnership with the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools (ICGS), the leading advocate for girls' education globally, representing over 560 girls’ schools in more than 25 countries. This collaboration marks a significant step forward in our shared mission to support the well-being of girls and young women in schools around the world.

ICGS and AC will work together to provide ICGS member schools with findings and guidance about the latest trends in student and faculty / staff well-being in girls’ schools. In support of this work, member schools are also encouraged to partner directly with Authentic Connections to gain a better understanding of their communities; using rigorous analyses of quantitative data, along with areas for improvement from coded free response questions, AC provides focus areas and next steps for partner schools to improve community well-being. Interactive dashboards contextualize findings relative to other girls' schools and enable leaders to explore findings by demographic groups (e.g., by grade, ethnicity) to understand those needing attention.

SAIS Partnership

Southern Association of Independent Schools
Starting in Fall 2019, we partnered with the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) for a two-year collaboration to advance student health and wellness work across SAIS schools!

All SAIS member schools serving middle or high school students were able to use AC’s Well-Being Index (WBI) - now the Student Resilience Survey (SRS) - for free once during the two-year period. Smaller schools (with an enrollment of 400 or fewer students) were also be able to use the WBI for half the original price during the second year.

As part of the partnership, the AC team lead a series of webinars for member schools, specifically focused on helping schools understand the issues around student well-being in high achieving schools, and to identify trends and prioritize focus areas at SAIS schools.

National Association of Independent Schools

NAIS Pilot

In Spring 2019, we launched a pilot study with the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) to work with 8 NAIS member schools. NAIS contributed 50% of the costs incurred for schools that participated using the High Achieving Schools Survey.
